The Neck Scratchin' Bag Man In New Haven
This sketchy looking character was first spotted right before an I-95 entrance ramp in New Haven. He was staring at a dumpster in a parking lot, as motionless as a statue. The man had his hand on his neck in a scratching position, yet his hand was completely still. He also appeared to have an abnormal amount of things stuffed in his pockets, as well as two large bags overloaded with stuff. It was this peculiar character that ultimately planted the seeds of inspiration to grow into the reality of this photo blog. Due to traffic behind our vehicle while merging onto the highway, we were unable to capture this elusive drifter on film at the first sighting. We then patiently waited to snap a shot for several days before catching this rare photo of the Bag Man about to enter a crosswalk, several hundred feet away from his native dumpster observing habitat.
